Wasteserv recycling centre is introducing new hours and adding more localities in a bid to reach more people through its Roadshow service.

Roadshow aims to increase local recycling rates as well as advocate the safe disposal of hazardous waste through dedicated trucks which visit localities to collect recyclable material.

The service, which accepts materials in the form of textiles, cooking oil, light bulbs & light tubes, polystyrene, glass, plastic, metal, paper and cardboard, will be extending its reach to include 23 different localities over the span of the coming week.

In a seperate post, Wasteserv announced that construction waste is not currently being accepted at the recycling plant.
