Gozo students rejoice! A permanent route has just been announced that will considerably improve service for Gozitan University students travelling to the main campus of the University of Malta.

This idea evolved from long conversations with the Gozitan University Group (GUG) and a pressing need to address Gozitan students' transit difficulties.

Discussions with the Gozo University Group (GUG) identified a variety of problems with current transport choices. As a result, a direct route between Cirkewwa and the University has been established. This route will use bypasses such as the Mellieħa and St. Paul's Bay bypasses, with only two stops along the way to ensure the quickest service feasible.

The new express bus route will provide more convenience, shorter travel times, and more accessibility to all Gozitan students. This route is also said to reduce a significant number of cars on the road since students will now have a more practical alternative to travel.

This initiative strives to improve the quality of life for both Gozitans and residents of Gozo.

Will you be making use of this service?
