Mission accomplished! Pierre Farrugia and fellow Maltese hikers conquer Everest Base Camp
Local adventurer and vlogger Pierre Farrugia, known for capturing Malta’s scenic trails, has just completed his most daring expedition yet – trekking to Everest Base Camp!
Teaming up with a group of fellow Maltese hikers, Pierre made the gruelling journey to 5,364 metres above sea level, battling exhaustion, illness, and extreme conditions along the way.
Sharing his triumph, Pierre wrote: 'Mission accomplished! EBC round trip done. It wasn’t easy – I was sick, tired, and exhausted – but with the help of Mexventures Trekking & Expeditions, Ryan, the guides, and my incredible teammates, I did it… we did it!'
