Cordia String Quartet, tenor Cliff Zammit Stevens and actor Clare Agius will headline an evening of classical music in Mdina inspired by the beauty of summer.
A Midsummer Dream will take over the rarely accessible Aula Capitulare at St Paul’s Cathedral for an exclusive one-night-only concert on 17th June.
Following last year’s sold-out success, the concert returns as part of the Mdina Resounds series by Udjenza, inviting audiences into the historic space for a celebration of classical music.
Under the musical direction of Jacob Portelli, the concert will take audiences through some of classical music’s most beloved works, from Handel’s majestic Music for the Royal Fireworks and Brahms’ Hungarian Dances, to the beauty of Haydn’s Sunrise and the romantic elegance of Dvořák’s waltzes.
The concert promises an immersive atmosphere, with guests invited to explore the serenity of the Cathedral’s main nave before the performance and treated to a welcome drink hosted by Xara Collection.
Guests may also opt for an exclusive pre-concert guided walking tour of Mdina in English, led by a professional guide.
