Michelle Curmi has been identified as the victim of the traffic accident that happened 11 days ago, on 17^th May, in Mdina Road, Zebbug. She reportedly succumbed to her injuries and passed away in hospital yesterday.

The 32-year-old hailing from Mtarfa was reportedly a passenger on a Harley Davidson motorbike which was being driven by a 40-year-old man. The motorcycle was involved in a collision with a Toyota Porte, driven by a 49-year-old man, coming from Zabbar.

Both the motorcyclist and the passenger were hospitalised, but this morning, the police issued a statement confirming that Curmi succumbed to her injuries. Since April, she is the fifth victim of traffic accidents in Malta.
