Michelle Curmi has been identified as the victim of the traffic accident that happened 11 days ago, on 17th May, in Mdina Road, Zebbug. She reportedly succumbed to her injuries and passed away in hospital yesterday.

The 32-year-old hailing from Mtarfa was reportedly a passenger on a Harley Davidson motorbike which was being driven by a 40-year-old man. The motorcycle was involved in a collision with a Toyota Porte, driven by a 49-year-old man, coming from Zabbar.

Both the motorcyclist and the passenger were hospitalised, but this morning, the police issued a statement confirming that Curmi succumbed to her injuries. Since April, she is the fifth victim of traffic accidents in Malta.
