Dillon wasn’t the only Maltese athlete running yesterday’s half marathon, however…
Luke Micallef completed the race just seven seconds after Dillon, thus establishing the third best time by a Maltese athlete on this distance.
The Copenhagen Half Marathon welcomed a whopping 25,000 athletes from around the world, with Dillon and Luke managing to finish the race amongst the top 70.
Malta’s very own Joelle Cortis also produced a commendable result, finishing the race in an hour, 18 minutes, and 40 seconds, earning her the 47th spot in the women’s category and third in the Over 35 category.
