Maltese competitive public speaker Chloe Cauchi wins JCI Europe Public Speaking Championships in Romania
Maltese competitive public speaker and law student Chloe Cauchi has taken home the top crown at the Europe Public Speaking Championships in Bucharest, Romania.
Chloe will now have the honour of representing all of Europe at the JCI World Congress Public Speaking Competition next November.
“Ironically, I am speechless trying to muster up the words that I feel, but being proud and grateful of the community that has supported me since day one is undeniable”, Chloe wrote after her win.
Chloe thanked Sir Nigel Hawthorne’s character, “Sir Humphrey Appleby”, which she has credited for inspiring her speech.
“Thank you for serving as a stark reminder of what we should and shouldn’t be”.
Best of luck for next November Chloe!
