Lucy, the dog abandoned on the airport roundabout, gets a foster home!
Just look at that sweet face.

Sarah Micallef

It was just a couple of days ago that the nation fell in love with Lucy, the sweet fox terrier that was cruelly left ‘waiting’ for her owner to return at the airport roundabout in Gudja.

Her story resonated with many, sparking anger among animal lovers who questioned who could carry out such a heartless act.

But the sad story was all set for a happy ending, when the sweet foxy was rescued and taken to Animal Welfare, where she was named Lucy.

And now, Lucy’s good luck seems to have continued, as she’s already off to a foster home! The great news was shared in a post by Rescued is my Favorite Breed – Malta, and Lucy’s rescuer writes “To he who did this: You discarded her like garbage… but what you (as the low life that you are) did not see is that SHE IS A TREASURE!!! Now she will be treated as she always deserved. We took care of her, karma will take care of you.”

We couldn’t agree more!
