It looks divine!

One of our favourite local foodie pages has done it again! Ch-EAT is all about creating innovative (cheat) recipes for locals to try, and more often than not, it includes some kind of local product, dish or delicacy. Remember the Mac Hobza? Ch-EAT now gives us Cisk Rabbit. Jesus take the wheel!

Jon, the mastermind behind these drool-worthy recipes, starts off by covering the rabbit pieces in a mix of flour and spices, proceeding to fry in vegetable oil. Once done, he removes the rabbit and tosses in onions, garlic, smoked Maltese sausage (YAS!), mushrooms and bay leaves. Now here comes the big one. He then adds fav local beer Cisk to the mix, creating a gorgeous-looking sauce. Ok. We have officially entered foodie heaven.

He then tosses the rabbit back in, adds chicken stock (ovja) and lets it simmer for 1.5 hours. Great food takes time, ruhi! Plate, and as we say in Maltese, ghidli x’int tiekol!
