If you’re up for discovering some fresh local singing talent, mark your calendars for Saturday 18th January, and head to Teatru Astra in Victoria, Gozo! The sixth edition of ‘Kantamagħna: A Singer's Festival’ will bring to the stage 30 talented singers, aged 11 to 35, competing in the final stage of this competition.

This singing competition comes with a twist though – all singers will be accompanied by a live 18-piece big band, known as the DCapitals Big Band, under the direction of Mro George Apap – an incredible opportunity for any singer!

This year, the competition features two categories, Kantamagħna Junior, for singers aged 11 to 15, and Kantamagħna Festival, for those aged 16 to 35. Trophies await the top three performers in each category, while the Kantamagħna Festival winner will enjoy a one-year experience with the band, performing in both local and international events.
