Malta has recorded one success after the other during its fight against the COVID-19 pandemic and it may have just earned the greatest nod yet.

In a Facebook post by Deputy Prime Minister and Health Minister Chris Fearne, he revealed that Malta has once again topped an EU-wide survey: "It's official - Malta has the most trusted healthcare system in the EU! I am humbled by our people's trust," Minister Fearne wrote.

The only country to score higher than 8, Malta is followed by Denmark, Finland, Spain and Austria. On the other end of the spectrum, Hungary recorded the lowest trust rating in the country's healthcare system.

Well done Malta!
