After years of anticipation, Ladurée, the world-renowned French patisserie, has officially opened its first café in Malta at The Point Shopping Mall in Sliema.
Initially announced back in 2019 and again in 2022, the opening faced delays, but now Maltese fans of the iconic macarons can finally indulge.
Ladurée, established in 1862, has built a global reputation for its luxurious pastries, with its delicate, pastel-colored macarons being a signature treat. The new café will offer Maltese customers a taste of Paris, with a selection of its celebrated sweets and gourmet offerings.
Ladurée announced earlier this year that the long-awaited opening would happen in 2024, and as of this week, it is officially open to the public.
The café promises to bring a slice of Ladurée’s charm to Sliema, offering a refined atmosphere for lovers of French patisserie.
