Expect to hear tunes from The Beatles, Queen, and Elvis Presley.
Ready your calendars because another massive summer event is coming our way!
In a press conference held earlier today, Tourism Minister Clayton Bartolo announced that the BBC Concert Orchestra will be returning to Malta for a performance at The Granaries, Floriana on 9th July.
The theme for this year’s concert is ‘Classic Rock Anthems’, and thus, attendees can expect to hear tunes from famed artists such as The Rolling Stones, Queen, David Bowie, Prince, Lady Gaga, Coldplay, The Beatles, Tina Turner, Fleetwood Mac, Cher, and of course, Elvis Presley.
“Despite the trying times that the tourism sector has experienced, Malta kept attracting high-quality activities. This goes to show that we believe in offering our tourists experiences of a high standard,” the Tourism Minister said.
“This should be the mentality that we follow if we want our country to keep strengthening its touristic product in the best way possible,” he continued.
Gavin Gulia, Chairman of the Malta Tourism Authority, remarked that activities such as the BBC Concert Orchestra are part of the authority’s vision to make Malta a destination for events relevant to all age groups.
