Inter Milan Football Club team arrives in Malta ahead of friendly game with Gzira United
The successful Italian football club, Inter Milan has just arrived in Malta with its talented squad.
The team, led by coach Simone Inzaghi, arrived last night for an extensive five day training camp ahead of Serie A restarting early in January.
Inter will also be playing a friendly game with Gzira United at the Tony Bezzina Stadium today. The match will start at 6pm.
Some of the star players that have arrived in Malta include Samir Handanovic, Milan Skriniar, Hakan Calhanoglu, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Nicolo Barella and Edin Dzeko.
Unfortunately, not all the full squad came to Malta as some players are off in Qatar playing for their country in the World Cup.
Such players include Denzel Justus Morris Dumfries and Stefan de Vrij who are currently playing for the Netherlands. Lautaro Javier Martinez is also still in Qatar playing for Argentina.
Additionally, the Austrian football team, Red Bull Salzburg also flew to Malta where they will also be playing Inter at the Tony Bezzina Stadium on Wednesday.
