The Maltese brewery, Farsons, have announced they have been awarded two prestigious medals for two of their most popular beers.

At this year’s edition of the International Beer Challenge Awards, the classic Cisk Lager won a Bronze medal while the Cisk Excel Low-Carb Lager was awarded a silver medal.

There were 358 entries in total from across the world who were awarded such medals, 94 of which were lager.

The medals go through a number of expert beer tasters before they are awarded. In fact, they have been described as a “recognised symbol of quality”.
