Hot damn! Malta's sunny spell is set to continue but what else can we expect?
Can you feel the breeze?

Caroline Curmi

July is living up to expectations as temperatures in Malta leave their mark (sunburn anyone?) and it seems like that's set to continue for the near future!

Indeed, according to local weather page Maltese Islands Weather, temperatures are expected to remain stable at around 31°C throughout next week. Although seasoned summer dwellers in Malta will tell you it's actually a kind forecast for the month we're in, get ready to be shocked as temperatures are expected to feel as high as 36°C on some days due to the humidity.

And there's more! The sun's rays are expected to read an unforgiving 11+ on the UV index throughout the entire week, which puts people at "extreme risk of harm from unprotected sun."

You may not feel the sun scorching, especially with next week's solid F2-3 breezy forecast, but do pack up on that suncream! Winds are expected to peak at a F4 between Thursday and Friday and calm down again by Friday evening.

Keep safe y'all!
