Hello, spring vibes! A weekend of sunshine, real feel of 23°C, and calm breezes awaits in Malta & Gozo
Although it's still spring, don't forget the sunblock!

After yesterday’s chilly showers, this morning has brought back the springtime vibes Malta is known for. And good news – it should remain that way for the rest of the week, including the weekend!

Despite a partly cloudy sky, Saturday is set to bring the warmest ‘real feel’ temperature of April so far, with a comfortable 23°C and – drumroll, please – calm winds! After weeks of gusty weather, this will be the first weekend in a while without strong winds, making it the perfect time to hop over to Gozo or even take your first dip of 2025!

If you’re planning to spend time outdoors, though, keep in mind that the UV index is creeping up, currently sitting at 7. While it’s not quite the blistering summer 11, it’s high enough to require sunscreen and extra hydration when out and about.

Sunday will remain warm and pleasant, with temperatures peaking at 21°C. However, winds will gradually pick up later in the day, so enjoy the calm conditions while they last!

By Monday, the breeze will strengthen further, and rain clouds will return, bringing isolated showers that are expected to linger into Tuesday.

While daytime temperatures are getting noticeably warmer, nights can still be chilly, especially in windy areas. You might not need your thick winter coat, but keeping a cosy cardigan or jacket handy is still a good idea!

Any plans for this gorgeous spring weekend?

2nd April 2025
