Heads up, folks! Tonight, It-Tigrija Road will be closed, Infrastructure Malta has announced. No access will be available in both directions as they’ll be lifting in place “the first 30-metre section of the new footbridge over this 4-lane road.”

The road, which connects the Marsa-Hamrun bypass, Santa Venera and 13^th December Road, will be closed tonight at 8pm until tomorrow at 5am. Infrastructure Malta is urging drivers to follow the diversion signs accordingly or to use alternative routes. “This new bridge will create a safer pedestrian route between Marsa and Qormi.”
