San Ġwann’s Local Council has announced roadworks that will temporarily affect access to the Kappara Roundabout area. The works started last night (Monday 19th May) and are expected to last till 5 AM on Saturday 24th May.

The works, which involve scarifying and resurfacing, are being carried out to improve road conditions in this busy part of Malta’s transport network. To minimise disruption during peak hours, all works will take place overnight, starting from 8:00pm each evening and continuing until 5:00am the following morning.

Motorists are advised to plan ahead and consider alternative routes where possible during the specified hours. By 5:00am each morning, the road will reopen to allow for normal traffic movement throughout the day.

Drive safely!
