Her blog, A Bird with a French Fry, is a place to share happy things, creative ideas and the joys of parenthood. Lorinda is also a wonderful mum to sweet Henry who is a PBS survivor with Chronic Kidney Disease. Lorinda is a cancer survivor herself, and nothing will bring her down.
Jays of Sunshine girls
Maxine Aquilina and Angie Amato are queens to say the least. After both of them lost their mothers to cancer, the two girls launched Jays of Sunshine, an NGO that helps young kids with cancer fulfill their wishes.
Roberta Metsola
Roberta Metsola needs no introduction. She’s always been a boss lady but this year she deserves extra recognition after being appointed the European Parliament’s first ever Vice President. She is also an MEP for the Maltese Islands within the EPP Group as well as a hardworking mama to four boys.
Amy Camilleri Zahra
Amy Camilleri Zahra is a motivational speaker, activist and academic. At just 21 years of age, she contracted bacterial meningitis that eventually lead her to having to undergo a double leg amputation as well as parts of her fingers. Due to the disease she also had to have a kidney transplant. But nothing could stop her and now she inspires people on the daily.
Tamara Webb
Social media influencer, lifestyler, mama to Pixie Rose and all-round kick ass woman, Tamara Webb slays the Instagram game. Apart from all her stunning shots, she strives to push a deeper message. Tips from the pro: be active, be it running, dancing, or fitness, and eat a balanced diet (no, chocolate is not going to ruin your fitness goals). #BALANCE

Yazmin’s routine is basically lift, slay, repeat. The 27-year-old weight lifting champ is a record holder in her sport, and made Malta super proud when she snatched first place in the 69kg category during the 2018 weight lifting tournament in Australia. Queen!
