Malta’s famous Grand Harbour will be transformed into a beautiful open-air stage on Friday 24th July as the Pageant of the Seas returns.

The highly anticipated biennial event will start at 8pm at Xatt il-Barrieri (Ta’ Liesse), where Tikka Banda will perform an interactive musical show before the main event, which will begin just before the sun sets.

Several illuminated yachts, traditional Maltese boats, sailing vessels and kayaks will journey across the harbour in a choreographed display, accompanied by music, synchronised fountain shows, and laser projections, and the night will end with a spectacular fireworks display.

Pageant of the Seas is organised by the Valeltta Cultural Agency, whose Chairman Jason Micallef described it as a unique and magical experience.

Entry is free of charge.
