Good luck! Malta Karate Team heads to Italy for World Cadet, Junior & U21 World Championships
This year’s tournament will feature a record-breaking number of athletes

The Maltese Olympic Committee has shared a photo of the national karate team at the airport, ahead of their journey to the World Cadet, Junior & U21 Championships, taking place from 9th to 13th October in Venice, Italy.

This year’s tournament will feature a record-breaking number of athletes, with nearly 2,000 competitors from 113 countries.

Elimination rounds will run from Wednesday 9th to Friday 11th October, followed by the official opening ceremony on Friday evening. The bronze medal bouts and finals will take place over the weekend on Saturday and Sunday. Those interested can access the full programme online for more details.
