Sophie has lived in London for the past four years, where she trained at the prestigious Bird College, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Professional Dance and Musical Theatre. Since graduating, she has worked across a wide range of performing arts projects, steadily building a strong and diverse professional portfolio.

This touring production of Aladdin holds particular significance. Shooting Star Entertainments is the first Theatre in Education company in the UK to have its contracts backed by Equity, the world-renowned actors’ union that supports performers across industries including the West End.

Through this initiative, Sophie and her fellow cast members tour schools and community spaces, ensuring that the joy of pantomime reaches children and audiences who may not otherwise have access to live theatre.

For Sophie, the experience is not only professionally rewarding but also meaningful on a personal level. Representing Malta on an international stage, she continues to demonstrate the high calibre of Maltese talent abroad while contributing to inclusive arts education across the UK.

Well done, Sophie! Keep shining bright!
