From Malta to Sicily! Reports suggest that Ragusa Xpress ferry will start operating by spring 2024

Ragusa Xpress, a new ferry crossing between Malta and Ragusa, Sicily is soon set to start operating.

This news comes after a report by Ragusa Oggi, who announced that the ferry has completed its first test run between the two Mediterranean Islands.

The news portal also reported that the Ragusa Xpress will start operating by spring or in any case before summer.

Peppe Cassì, the mayor of Ragusa himself was present at the Marina di Ragusa when the first test run was completed.

The ferry can carry around 400 passengers and a limited number of cars.

Bookings have not yet opened.
