First pastizzi pie, now this! Local foodie page presents incredible Maltese bread burger
Get in my belly.

It was barely two weeks ago that local foodie and video editor Jon Camilleri’s page, Ch-EAT, crashed into the scene. And after giving us some serious cravings with his genius pastizzi pie (yes, a pie made out of local pastizzi), he’s at it again with another ridiculous creation with a local twist.

World, meet the Maltese Bread Burger.

Now, we all know about the wonders of Maltese bread, but that’s not the only much-loved local ingredient incorporated into this beast. Oh no.

You see, replacing a burger bun with Maltese bread isn’t nearly Maltese enough. The real star of the show here is the patty – which is formed around a tasty peppered cheeselet (that’s gbejna tal-bzar, between you and me). Are you shook? I’m shook.

Think you’d like to give it a shot? Well, you’re in luck! Watch’s Jon’s handy how-to video here:

Let us know how you get on! And um, we’re always game to share!
