Experience the breath-taking beauty of Gozo like never before at Lejl Imkebbes
Over 30,000 candles of all forms will light up the narrow streets of the historic city of Cittadella

Gozo’s Cittadella always takes our breath away but it will soon shine more than ever before at Lejl Imkebbes, the annual festival of lights held at Cittadella taking place on the 20th April, 2024. Organised in collaboration with the Ministry of Gozo and the Cultural Heritage Directorate, Lejl Imkebbes promises a memorable evening for all visitors.

You can expect around 500 square metres of unique artifacts all around the historical UNESCO site. This year, two new attractions will be added as more candle decorations will be adorning Cittadella to create quite the magical atmosphere.

Additionally, three light structures will be set up to give attendees the opportunity to take some insta worthy photos!

The festival will also offer numerous activities for the whole family to enjoy such as extended and discounted or free museum entrances, the opening of other public venues of interest, live entertainment on stage and around the city, food stalls, live reenactments and other activities, including ones to keep your kids entertained.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, 20th April from 6pm onwards, for a night that will suit all tastes and ages.
