On Saturday 25th July, Heritage Malta is offering a guided boat tour of the intriguing islet full of interesting snippets about Filfla's history and wildlife as recounted by Curator John J Borg.

Departing from Sliema at 10am, the boat will head directly to Filfla and there will even be a short time for swimming on the way back to Sliema. Since the islet is protected, participants will not be allowed to disembark or swim off the coast of Filfla.

A bar on board will be offering refreshments, however it is recommended you bring your own packed lunch for the half-day trip. Sunblock and hats are also a necessity!

FUN FACT: During Malta's British years, the island was used for target practice by soldiers.

The meeting point for this activity is Sliema ferries at 9.15am. Tour ends around 3pm and may be cancelled in case of bad weather. To book your tickets, please click here.
