Join Joseph German, former Chief Petty Officer at HMS St Angelo, for a tour around Fort St Angelo! Mr German was the last naval personnel to leave the shore establishment on 31 March 1979 and had also conducted guided tours to VIPs visiting the Fort as well as the general public in a weekly tour every Wednesday through the 1960s and 70s. Among others, he guided several local and foreign prime ministers and presidents, a Grand Master of the Order of St John and even a descendant of Grand Master de Valette. Throughout this tour, Mr German will focus on the use of the Fort by the Royal Navy and the various facilities found within. Please note that the tour will be delivered in Maltese. Tour starts at 19:00. Afterwards, visitors can view the exhibition 'Behind Closed Doors Fort St Angelo & the Royal Navy 1906-1979' and enjoy a complimentary glass of wine or soft drink.

On the day, Fort St Angelo will remain open until 22:30 and will be accessible to other visitors not joining the tour at regular ticket prices (last entrance at 22:00). The museum shop will also be open offering a variety of refreshments and light snacks. For this occasion, the exhibition's catalogue will be available at a discounted price of €10.
