Is-Soċjetà Storika ta' Malta, in collaboration with Heritage Malta, is organising a guided visit to Fort Delimara on 14th May at 6:15pm. Participants will have the opportunity to explore the fascinating history of this 19th-century coastal fortification, originally built between 1876 and 1878 to strengthen Malta’s coastal defences during a period of major military and artillery developments. Visitors will learn about the fort’s strategic role, its impressive heavy artillery, and the unique architectural features found within the complex. Places are limited to 30 participants, and the tour will be conducted in Maltese. A €5 donation is requested on the day.
