Firmament is a thought-provoking solo exhibition by visual artist and author Ryan Falzon that explores the symbolic idea of the “firmament” — the ancient concept of the sky as a celestial boundary between the earthly and the divine. Through a multidisciplinary body of work featuring paintings, installations, and readings, Falzon invites audiences into a liminal space where inner and outer worlds converge. Drawing inspiration from ancient Mesopotamian and Egyptian cosmologies, medieval esoteric imagery, and the iconic Flammarion engraving, the exhibition examines humanity’s desire to transcend physical and cosmic limits while embarking on a deeply personal inner journey.
