From green party to clean streets: Spinola cleaned after St Patrick’s
A major post-St Patrick’s clean-up took place in the Spinola area of St Julian’s

As the party died down and the leprechaun hats put back in the closet for another year, a major post-St Patrick’s clean-up took place in the Spinola area of St Julian’s.

Photos released by the Cleansing Department show government workers cleaning up a considerable amount of rubbish that was left on the streets following last night’s party, including several beer cans and cups.

The Cleansing Department said the clean-up started immediately after the St Patrick’s party ended and that the area is now clean.

A big shout-out to those workers who stepped in after the crowds cleared out, and who helped bring the area back to normal in just a matter of hours.
