The Minister for Home Affairs, Byron Camilleri is thanking the Malta Police Force for their efforts following today’s raid and arrest in Floriana in connection to last week’s double homicide in Sliema.

“A day doesn’t go by where the Malta Police Force doesn’t show the utmost level of competence within it. The work isn’t easy,” says Minister Byron Camilleri shared on Facebook. “We ask a lot out of the Malta Police Force. From reports about excessive noise to dangerous operations like the one we saw today.

“I have just spoken to the Police Commissioner, praising him on behalf of the Maltese population for the work being carried out,” he continues. “As promised from my first day as Minister we will work so that the police have more and better resources in order to obtain results like that of today.”

“This is a Police Force that works. It deserves support. It deserves the thanks of the Maltese population,” Camilleri concluded.
