Duke's Snack Bar, a beloved culinary landmark in Msida, close to Junior College, has announced that its current owners, Jason and Tania, will be stepping down from their roles due to health-related issues. In a post shared on the Facebook group 'Are You Being Served', they expressed the need to cease managing the establishment and extended an invitation to interested parties to continue the legacy of Duke's.

Established nearly 60 years ago by Charles Duca, from whom the name ‘Duke's’ is derived, the snack bar began as a modest bar and evolved over the decades. Expansions included a counter filled with fresh bread and local ingredients, allowing customers to craft custom snacks and lunches.

In October 2019, Duke's faced a significant setback when its ceiling collapsed due to construction work on the floor above. Fortunately, the incident occurred on a Saturday when the snack bar was closed, resulting in no injuries. After extensive renovations and a rebranding effort, Duke's triumphantly reopened in September 2020, much to the delight of its loyal patrons.  

The owners have now reached out to the community, seeking individuals genuinely interested in preserving and advancing the legacy of Duke's Snack Bar. Prospective successors are encouraged to contact Jason and Tania directly via private message or WhatsApp at 99476305 for further information.
