Get ready for one of spring’s sweetest events! Festa Frawli – Malta’s beloved Strawberry Festival – returns to Mġarr this Sunday 27th April, and with the crowds expected to flock in for a taste of everything strawberry, parking and transport arrangements are being put in place to make your visit smoother.
Where to park in Mġarr
To ease access to the festival, three public parking zones will be available around Mġarr:
- The corner between Triq Fisher and Triq il-Banjijiet Rumani
- The corner between Triq iż-Żebbiegħ and Triq Binġemma
- Latmija, near the cemetery
These locations provide convenient walking access to the heart of the village and the festival.
Hop on the Park & Ride
Prefer to skip the village traffic altogether? A Park & Ride service will also be running on the day, with three outside-Mġarr pickup points to choose from:
- Ta’ Qali
- Triq l-Infetti (the main road between Saqqajja Hill and the Imtarfa Military Cemetery)
- Rabat Interchange, just outside Mdina
Shuttle buses will run every 30 minutes, starting from 10 AM till 3 PM at Ta’ Qali, and 11 AM till 6 PM from Mġarr heading back.
