Did you say smashed screen? We know just the thing to take away your phone troubles
Haven’t you heard? It’s called QuickFix.
From one to 10, how much would you despair right now if you shattered the screen on your phone? Or if your laptop suddenly died? Or if the tablet your kids use for their Zoom lessons fell in a bucket of water? We’re guessing somewhere close to 10.
And what’s worse, you need the repair to be down, well, NOW. Feeling the frustration build? We can all relate. But there is a solution, and it’s called QuickFix.
We don’t mean a quick-fix like trying to glue your broken screen back together, but a new tech repair company that offers the full package – we only wish it existed sooner. What’s so special, you ask?
It looks NOTHING like a standard repair shop

Why is that important? Well, you’re probably already at boiling point over having broken your device, the last thing you want is to enter a tiny shop with a long queue (especially in these Covid times). The brand new QuickFix, in Valley Road, Birkirkara, looks nothing like what you’d expect a repair shop to be. Wooden panelling, lots of plants, and a bright and airy look makes it more like a hip coffee shop where you’d hang out with friends.
Speaking of coffee…
If you’re waiting for your device to be repaired, yes, you may help yourself to coffee. And watch TV. And use the free Wi-Fi too, so you could effectively get on with your day while the technicians here work their magic.
They pick-up and deliver your device
This pretty much sums up what makes them a cut above the rest. Chris Attard and Stefan Cutajar, the owners of QuickFix, say they want the company to be service oriented, rather than just revenue-driven. “Our company values revolve around service – and we want clients to know that we care for their needs and we’re not just there to fix their phone, but to put their minds at ease and offer the best service we can with the least frustration possible,” says Stefan, who was previously the owner of Pulptech.
Same day delivery

Removing the hassle of driving, parking and waiting, these guys will collect your device from wherever you are, repair it, and bring it back to you. “If you’re at work and your phone suddenly stopped working, we’ll collect it from your place of work, fix it, and return it repaired,” says Chris. “Most of the repairs are same-day repairs – in some cases, if we collect a device in the morning, it will be ready by early afternoon.”
Service all the way
With prior experience running a business, Stefan, together with forward-thinker Chris, want service to be at the heart of everything they do. “Convenience and client satisfaction are at the top of our list, more than just fixing mobiles, laptops and tablets. That’s why we introduced the service of pick-up and delivery.”
The Uber of tech repairs
While Covid-19 has thrown a curveball at this young business, which was about to open its doors in March, Chris and Stefan are using the time to build their brand and their future. “Although we’re still starting out, our aim is to be the Uber of tech repairs. Did your phone break? You’ll be able to go to our app, enter your location, and find out what time pick-up and delivery will be. It is that simple, and effective!”
Not just personal, but corporate too

The services of QuickFix extend to businesses as well as personal gadgets and, while they repair everything, their strength lies in fixing Apple devices. “We’re very well stocked with parts too,” says Stefan, who carries out most of the repairs. “We can service iPhone 5s to iPhone 11s, and of course Mac products too.”
Need a quick-fix?
Keep your eyes peeled for a QuickFix promo on their Facebook page in the coming weeks which iPhone users would kill for – a free iPhone repair! The best part is, to enter the chance to win, all you’ll need to do is carry out an act of kindness. Yep, QuickFix is the full package.
