November might be right in the heart of the Autumn season and while temperatures aren’t as high and skies aren't as sunny as they used to be in summer, Malta is still one of the hottest countries in Europe so you can still very much enjoy the country’s hot climate.

But what exactly does typical weather in Malta look like November?

Malta’s average highest temperature around this time hits 21°C while it drops down to a 17°C average during the night.

Therefore, don’t bring too many warm clothes with you, just a few lights jackets and jeans should be perfectly fine.

If you’re brave enough to go swimming, the sea temperature’s averages at around 22°C. Typically most locals stop swimming around this time but if the sea currents are calm, you can go ahead.

Nonetheless, November is Malta’s wettest month so make sure to check the weather forecast every morning and bring an umbrella with you.

The rain average is 81mm with over 15 rainy days throughout, although this typically comes in isolated showers.

Visitors to Malta will be able to enjoy 8 hours of sunshine every day during the month of November.
