COVID-19: Another elderly person becomes Malta’s 34th coronavirus-related death

Maltese Health Authorities have officially announced that Malta has registered its 34th Coronavirus-related death. According to the statement, a 79-year-old woman passed away while being infected with COVID-19.

The woman tested negative on 26th September as part of routine tests being done in elderly homes where she lives. She passed away yesterday, and a swab test post-mortem confirmed she was COVID-positive. The statement shared that the woman also had underlying health problems.
