A patient who tested positive for Coronavirus escaped as he was being transported to Sir Paul Boffa Hospital.

It is believed that this person is one of eight immigrants who tested positive for COVID-19 over the past few days. 

A police hunt is currently ongoing so he can be put in isolation, confirmed Prof. Charmaine Gauci.
