Ħamrun came alive on Sunday as another successful edition of its much-loved carnival transformed the streets into a vibrant spectacle of colour, costumes and elaborate floats.

Photoso on social media captured the impressive crowds that gathered to celebrate, showcasing the creativity, energy and festive spirit that have become synonymous with the Ħamrun Carnival.

Year after year, the event marks the lively start of Carnival week, drawing families, performers and visitors from across the island.

Organised as part of Malta’s wider Carnival programme led by Festivals Malta, the celebrations will continue to build momentum throughout the week, culminating next weekend with a packed schedule of activities, competitions and the ever-popular spontaneous Nadur Carnival.
