Ciao Malta! Grand opening of Luciano by Gino D’Acampo set for mid-June
The countdown begins!

Get ready, Malta – the island’s culinary scene is about to welcome a bold new flavour! It was announced last week that celebrity chef Gino D’Acampo is bringing his signature Italian charm and cuisine to the heart of St Julian’s with the launch of his very first international restaurant: Luciano by Gino D’Acampo.

And now we have a launch date! Set within the ME Malta hotel at Mercury Tower, Luciano will open its doors on the 14th and 15th of June with two unforgettable grand opening nights, and Gino himself will be there to celebrate with guests.

Originally set for a one-night launch on the 15th, tickets sold out in just 10 hours, prompting the addition of a second opening night on the 14th of June. Titled ‘A Cena Con Gino’, these exclusive events promise an immersive evening of Italian elegance, flavour, and entertainment.

Each evening will include a welcome drink on arrival and a meet-and-greet with Gino D’Acampo himself. In the way of food, you’ll dine on a curated selection of Italian canapés and a four-course dinner featuring Gino’s favourite dishes, while being serenaded by some live entertainment. You’ll also get a complimentary Gino D’Acampo cookbook, signed by the chef on the night.

Can’t make the grand opening? Don’t worry – Luciano by Gino D’Acampo officially opens for à la carte dinner service from June 18th, welcoming guests to experience Gino’s culinary vision on any evening of the week.

Ready for Luciano?
