This photo, captured by aerial photographers Maciej Margas & Aleksandra Łogusz of ‘Malta From The Air’ show Gozo’s Villa Rundle garden like you’ve never seen it before.

The shot shows the garden in perfect symmetry. Every tree, bench and green patch is an exact match to the other side. It truly highlights its picturesque structure and architecture.

Villa Rundle has become the ideal haven where many Gozitans and tourists alike go to escape the hustle and bustle of the busy town of Victoria.

During the time of the British here in Malta, the garden was first a farm that helped farmers on the island to experiment and try new farming techniques to improve the produce of their own farms.

The then Chief Office of Gozo’s Civil Service, William Millard decided to transform the land into a recreational garden for everyone to enjoy.

The garden was built after he sought the help of Governor Sir Leslie Rundle. When the garden was finished in 1915, it was named in his honour, hence why the garden is still referred to as ‘Villa Rundle Garden’ to this day.

Villa Rundle garden was given a huge turnover in 2009 before reponing once again to the public in 2012.

The garden is also home to playground for kids and families to enjoy! The highlight of the garden however has to be the amphitheatre where different concerts and productions are often held.
