Changes due to rough seas! Malta-Pozzallo ferry schedule updated for Saturday 22nd November
Both ferry and coach times have been adjusted due to the adverse weather expected tomorrow.
This weekend is forecast to bring some strong winds blowing over the islands, with today’s Force 5 gusts expected to increase to Force 7 by tomorrow evening. As expected, this will be affecting sea travel, and here’s the first update!
Travellers heading to and from Sicily this weekend should take note of important changes to Saturday’s ferry operations for Malta-Pozzallo (Sicily) service, operated by Virtu Ferries. Due to unfavourable sea conditions, adjustments have been made to both ferry and coach transfer schedules on Saturday 22nd November (tomorrow).
Here’s how the service will run:
- 05:00 – Malta to Pozzallo
Departure from Malta at 05:00, arriving in Pozzallo at 06:45 – this trip remains as scheduled.
Upon arrival, coach transfers to Catania Port will be provided as planned. - 13:00 – Catania to Pozzallo coach transfer
A revised transfer time has been issued:
Coach transfers from Catania Port to Pozzallo Port will now take place at 13:00. - 16:00 – Pozzallo to Malta
The return trip from Pozzallo will now depart at 16:00, arriving in Malta at 17:45.
