On the 1st of May, Heritage Malta is opening the Complex at a reduced price.

To commemorate Worker’s Day, Heritage Malta is opening the Tarxien Prehistoric Complex at a reduced price of €2. On the day, guided tours in Maltese will be held at 11:00 am and 3 pm and the 1 pm tour is set to be in English.

Sir Temi Zammit was a prominent Maltese writer who also found and studied the Complex as well as other scientific and archaeological investigations. These writings which served as entertainment for the general public also sought to advance the Maltese language.
During this special open day at the Complex, a selection from Sir Temi Zammit’s Maltese writings will be read at 10:00 am and 12:00 pm.
