Celebrating success! Maltese espresso bar wins European Coffee Trip Award
COFFEE & strangers opened in Sliema back in 2016

The Sliema Espresso bar that goes by the name COFFEE & strangers has something to celebrate other than great coffee – the receipt of a European Coffee Trip Award bestowed by the online magazine and a guide that focuses on the speciality coffee culture in Europe.

Founded in 2016, by Malta’s only licensed coffee educator, Deandra Gauci, COFFEE & strangers is considered Malta’s leading speciality coffee distributor and training centre. The espresso bar holds unique workshops and globally recognised courses, taking the combined theoretical and practical approach to making the perfect coffee.

In a social media post announcing the win, Deandra Gauci gushes at the honour of such an award, grateful that the team’s hard work has succeeded in placing ‘our beloved Malta on a list amongst other well-known specialty coffee houses in Europe.’

Congratulations on the prestigious award!
