Black Friday madness! Queues & traffic jams as Malta goes crazy for super deals
It’s a little chaotic out there!

black friday

Black Friday is a crazy day worldwide, and the Maltese, eager in their quest for a good bargain, have made it even crazier! Here’s just some of the madness we've heard about on the streets of Malta this Black Friday.

1. Chaos on the roads!

We’ve been hearing of super frustrating, bumper-to-bumper traffic jams! The Sliema streets in particular - perhaps unsurprisingly - are especially blocked.

2. Queues, queues, and more queues!

Photos are circling of endless queues outside stores such as Scan and Forestals in Malta. Some people have been queuing long before the shops even opened.

3. Talking of early hours!

Speaking of which... some shops have been open since 6am this morning, for the super eager shoppers wanting to get their hands on the good stuff.

4. Tigne's The Point is filling up… and quick!

The Point opened its doors to the madness at 9am and will remain opened until midnight tonigh. Hundreds are swarming to the complex to get their hands on anything and everything!

5. People are on a mission and there's nothing stopping them!

Stand clear of the shopping vultures! Emotions are high, and people are on a mission to get the best deals on the market. Beware, it might get aggressive!

Will you brave the Black Friday Madness? Are you STUCK in it? Let us know in the comments below!
