News spread last night that Birgu local Victor, better known as In-Nepuc, passed away. Locals who shared posts on socials have described him as a “legend,” having been known for the work he’s done over the years for the locality.

“Birgu lost a legend but I’m sure that St Lawrence is waiting for you with arms wide open,” Luca Lorenzo shares on socials.  “Thank you for everything you did for our community. Rest in peace, Nepuc.”

Another friend of his, Karmenu Scicluna also shared a tribute post this morning saying, “he worked with everyone” and was always willing to lend a helping hand when others needed it. Victor’s funeral will be held tomorrow at 8.30am, Karmenu shares.
