Peas or cheese?

Anton B. Dougall, the well-known local chef and food writer, has announced that he will be organising a new course for adults as part of the local cookery club 'Klabb tat-Tisjir', in which students will learn how to make two of Malta’s favourite snacks – pastizzi and qassatat!

The popular pastries can largely be bought from cafes or takeaway shops across the island, but are lesser-known as homemade products – particularly pastizzi – due to the very particular process required to make these delicious delicacies.

For this reason, the course already seems to have garnered a substantial amount of interest, with hundreds of likes and scores of comments on the announcement post in just one hour – is this the beginning of the homemade pastizzi era?
