Balzan Local Council wakes up to find a burnt Pride flag, condemning offenders
Not cool.

It’s currently Malta Pride Week – a week that’s all about inclusivity and embracing everyone, no matter their beliefs and who they love. It’s all about bringing positivity to the community but someone (or group of people) decided to rain on this particular parade.

The Balzan Local Council took to Facebook this morning to announce that it “is shocked with the news that during the early hours of today someone saw fit to burn the Pride Flag raised by the Local Council as part of Pride Week."

“The Council condemns this hateful act and shall be filing a police report accordingly. The Council hopes that those responsible will be brought to justice.” The Pride flag can be found near the locality’s church. Jesus ain’t happy, kids.

Spread love, people! Here’s hoping that the rest of Pride Week will be a more positive one.
