Bad news! Malta set to experience MORE gusty wind & buckets of rain this week
The Maltese aren't too happy about it.

Are you fed up of the gusty winds? Well, we’ve got some bad news. According to Malta Weather, the whole week is going to be “windy in Malta and Gozo, with strong north-westerly winds up to Gale Force 8 at times!” Yikes!

And that's not all the bad weather we're expecting this week. Added to the strong winds, rain is forecast from tomorrow right up until Sunday, with most days being “windy with rain.”

The Maltese love their sunshine, so this news doesn’t really sit well with us. Some locals have taken to Facebook to voice their opinions (and by that we mean grumble) about the unpleasant weather. Some have stated that the weather is annoying, ruining shopping and weekend plans, and one local joked that “seaside apartments are getting a good wash!” I guess that’s one way of looking at it.

Local celebrity chef Sean Gravina also took to Facebook to air (get it?) his gripes about the wind, and you've got to love his sense of humour!

Gloomy weather seems to be enjoying its stay on our islands, which is fine for now... we’re just hoping it will bugger off once Christmas approaches!
