If you're planning to travel in Santa Venera or Zejtun over the next few days, here’s a heads up on the closures that will be taking place over the coming days.

Several roads in Santa Venera will be temporarily closed tomorrow, Wednesday 3rd April, for various works. The closures are as follows:

  • Triq Vivion will be closed from 9 AM to 12 PM.
  • Triq Kanonku Bonniċi will be closed from 09:30 AM to 5 PM.
  • Part of Triq il-Kanun will be closed from 09:30 AM to 4 PM.
  • Triq l-Imsida will be closed from 09:30 AM to 5 PM.
  • Triq il-Fanali will be closed from 09:30 AM to 6 PM.

The Local Council of Santa Venera has advised the public to be mindful of these closures and consider using alternative routes to avoid commute delays.

Triq Tal-Barrani in the Bir Id-Deheb area of Zejtun will be partially closed for resurfacing works between Friday 4th April till Monday 7th April. The closure will take place every night between 8 PM and 5 AM.

To avoid any disruption, drivers are advised to use alternative routes, such as Triq Il-Labour or Vjal Il-25 ta’ Novembru, which will remain accessible throughout this period.

These closures may cause some disruption to normal traffic flow, so be sure to plan your route accordingly and allow for extra travel time!

Drive safely!
